New Albany, IN offers up an extremely unique food experience. I have a rule – when I see Pommes Frites on a menu, I’m all in!
The atmosphere is hip and cool – garage doors and acid washed floors. Service was informed, but laid back and casual. Server checked back with every item served with specific questions about food quality. Only “local” style bottled sodas – no coke or pepsi. Very unique position.
The afore mentioned Frites came with not one – not two – not three – but, SEVEN signature dipping sauces! Lavender oil – seriously – wow!
Duck wings served covered in a “Community Dark BBQ” sauce. Very savory and rustic flavors – really good!
Pork Tacos – 12hour brined pork slow cooked, hand pulled, drippings are saved – reduced – and added back into the pork. “Flavor Town” is calling. Then top with pickled red onion, pineapple, fresh cilantro, and mojo sauce.
